Fab for dry skin

As an older lady (53) with dry skin i needed a foundation that didnt sit in any faint lines and that looked natural. This is a fab medium coverage foundation. Silky and smooth. Blends easy with fingers. A small amount goes a long way. Leaves a velvety, clean looking skin with no need for a setting powder, which is a good thing for older skin types. If you want a fresh even base, go for this foundation. Its not for those wanting a full coverage but that is exactly what i didnt need. Great item for the money.

Drying

Bought this after trying lots of different testers. The shade match is perfect but the actual foundation itself isn't great. It sits on my skin and is very noticeable in pores and wrinkles even with primer. It doesn't blend very well and has made my skin very dry.

Shows quality doesn’t have to be unaffordable

It does what it says on the tin, it is a comfortable foundation with good coverage. I expected to be runny, however it is a relatively thick formula. It does get a little oily on me towards the end of the day but I have yet to find a foundation that doesn’t. For the price, coverage and cruelty free credentials this is a really good foundation.

Nice colour

The main reason I chose this foundation was because of the colour (cashew) which seemed exactly the colour I was looking for. Having dry skin I was also pleased it was described as hydrating.
After using it for a few weeks, I like the colour but wouldn't say this foundation is particularly moisturising - it goes onto the skin fairly dry and isn't dewy as I would have maybe expected.
For the price it is a nice affordable foundation and it's great it's cruelty free too.

I'll start by saying this is definitely a solid medium coverage foundation that I'm sure could be built up to full. The shade range really caught my attention as I have really tough luck finding products light enough. I got the shade Extra Fair and it is a perfect match for me!

The only problem I'm having is that it dries down very quickly and I haven't yet figured out a way to apply it that won't result in it sort of pilling and getting patchy. It works really beautifully with a liquid blush as it kind of rehydrates your skin and keeps the foundation looking smooth. I don't agree that there is any sort of glow, this definitely has a natural to matte finish so keep that in mind.
